MEET LIZZIE COSTELLO
Founder & Creative Director
I started my career working for large public relations firms in Chicago. When I realized I wanted to do more of the storytelling, I moved to Denver for a job writing patient stories at Children’s Hospital Colorado. It was inspiring to meet families and kids who’d overcome extraordinary odds. It was a privilege to write their stories of survival. For nine years, I told hundreds of stories that humbled me, motivated me, and connected me to others in the most human ways. Eventually, I started telling these stories in video form and created the video team at Children’s Hospital Colorado, which flourishes to this day.
When I felt the pull of telling stories outside of healthcare, I started Costello Productions, a company I named to honor my dad. He died in 2016 but left his legacy of changing lives by connecting with everyday people and advocating for positive community change.
I get my energy from dissecting characters, finding their innate truth, and materializing a story that connects them to each of us. I create straightforward narratives that reflect who my clients are and how we can feel connected because of them. I welcome the chance to talk to potential clients and explore how a documentary film or corporate video can help them reach their audiences and achieve their goals.
